sued against Tether and Bitfinex

Against iFinex Inc. and its subsidiaries filed a class action lawsuit for more than $ 1.4 trillion with the East District Court of New York.
Top managers Giancarlo Devasini (CFO Bitfinex), Philippe Porter (ex-CSO Bitfinex) and Jean-Louis van der Velde (CEO Bitfinex), as well as Panamanian processing Crypto Capital and Global Trade Solutions AG, are also defendants in the case. The latter appeared in the case of shadow banking for bitcoin exchanges.
They were accused of violating the U.S. Commodity Exchange Act, the RICO Act (on investing racketeering capital), money laundering, Pump & Dump schemes, market manipulation through USDT issuance, and deliberate fraud of investors.

The funds of Bitfinex users totaling $ 850 million are still frozen on Crypto Capital accounts. This is what forced the exchange to take a loan from Tether reserves, which led to a lawsuit in New York jurisdiction.
The lawsuit is overseen by lawyers Val Freudman and Kyle Roche, who sued Craig Wright in Florida.
It should be reminded about the upcoming lawsuit against them Bitfinex and Tether reported on Saturday, October 5th.
