Representatives of the Steemit service are happy to report the elimination of the bug and the return to full work.

Streemit reported in its blog that the developers fixed the error found in the reward curve, so the service is returning to work as before. The functioning of the system stopped at the weekend. The Steemit team quickly developed a solution that did not involve a hard fork. The bug fix, however, required a restart of the nodes used by steemit.com, as well as other Steem applications, such as Steem Monsters. Users complained that they could not create new messages. When trying to do this, the system reported an error or the application simply crashed during loading. Fortunately, Steemit users can continue their activities on the social platform.

Steemit is a decentralized social network whose members are rewarded for publishing unique content: the more votes a publication gains, the higher the earnings of an ecosystem member. Remuneration for published content is carried out after 24 hours from the date of publication. You can get rewards on Steemit not only for publishing materials, but also for curation, which involves voting and commenting on other people's content.
