DigiByte developers have announced that they are testing a mining algorithm, which is reconfigured every ten days.

Thus, the developers are convinced that the introduction of such an algorithm will contribute to greater decentralization of the DigiByte network.
Earlier, BlockchainJournal reported that hardfork took place in the Siacoin network , designed to resist mining on ASIC devices, which contributes to the concentration of power and harms decentralization.
