The Coil platform, created by a former Ripple technician, is now integrated with YouTube and Twitch. This system allows content creators to receive donations from users in XRP tokens.

Coil, a company that seeks to provide new ways for Internet content creators to monetize their work, has entered the beta testing phase.

To date, the company has integrated the service into such popular services as YouTube and Twitch, which allows viewers to donate to XRP tokens to their favorite channels.

Users can also use a donation platform for Wikipedia or the Internet Archive service.

Coil uses the Interledger protocol, created by Ripple, which is designed to facilitate payments from different networks.
