The Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) has sent to the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev a project to regulate the market of cryptocurrencies , according to RBC.

In the letter, the head of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Alexander Shokhin, criticized the bill passed by the State Duma deputies in the first reading. He stated that the draft law includes strict rules for regulating digital assets and the release of tokens . According to him, due to high standards, Russian jurisdiction will become unattractive for market participants.

The head of the union added that the Civil Code does not need to make global changes so that you can quickly adjust the regulation as digital technology develops. By-laws are quite enough, Shokhin believes.

According to Kommersant, in late October, three federal ministers will discuss the proposals of businessmen.

The fact that the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs is preparing an alternative draft law “On digital financial assets” became known in September.
