Anthony Pompiano in his tweets and a recent interview for CNBC has demonstrated his dedication to the most popular and expensive cryptocurrency in the world, Bitcoin.

Pompiano is a bitcoin evangelist who, in early 2019, even advised Warren Buffet to buy bitcoins .

The cryptocurrency community also believes that in the past it has done a lot to popularize Bitcoin, and that its current contribution to the cause is simply invaluable.

"Now I am even more optimistic about bitcoins – more than ever."

Pompiano explains the reasons for the current growth of Bitcoin

Explaining a lot of attention to Bitcoin , which this asset has received lately, Pompiano has given two reasons.

In an interview with CNBC, he noted that leading stock exchanges, such as CME and some others, receive large volumes of Bitcoin trading. This, in his opinion, suggests that institutional traders and retail investors are fully confident in Bitcoin.

Secondly, Pompiano believes that halving in May 2020 will be the main driving force for bitcoins.

In another tweet, he explains how halving is important. He associates halving and issuing dollars, a decrease in which could lead to a sharp increase in the world reserve currency:

Imagine if it was cut in half forever. Bankers would be FOMOing even though USD isn't a scarce asset.

    Bitcoin assets in the world.

    I can't wait.

    – Pomp ? (@APompliano) May 22, 2019

“Imagine if the daily issue of US dollars suddenly halved. Bankers would immediately have a FOMO, even though the dollar is not a scarce asset. Now imagine what will happen if the daily issue of Bitcoins, the supply of which is already limited, will be halved. ”

Bitcoin will reach $ 275,000 over 5 years

Anthony Pompiano also recently said that in the next 5 years, the price of Bitcoin will reach $ 275,000. In his opinion, this is the only asset that can increase its value by 20-50 times within five years.

At the time of this writing, the price of Bitcoin was $ 8,690 (+ 8.45%) with a market capitalization of $ 154 billion.
