The exchange of cryptocurrencies for national currency

became available in Croatian post offices
Croatian Post, in partnership with Electrocoin, launched a pilot project to exchange cryptocurrencies for the country's national currency.
According to the ministry, since July 15, in three post offices of the city of Zadar, owners of Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Stellar (XLM), XRP and EOS can exchange them for Croatian kuna (HRK). The aim of the pilot is to assess the market demand for the service.
In the future, the postal service of Croatia intends to offer the possibility of exchange of cryptocurrencies in all major settlements and tourist centers of the country.
“Over the past few years, cryptocurrencies have become more and more popular, and Croatia, with its network of 1016 post offices, will undoubtedly contribute to their popularity,” a Croatian post said in a statement.
Electrocoin website reports that this cryptocurrency company from Zagreb has been providing brokerage services to retail and institutional clients for 5 years. It provides the ability to buy / sell cryptocurrency through its own platform and the LocalBitcoins P2P service .
Recall that earlier in Europe, cryptocurrency trading projects were implemented through post offices in Austria and Liechtenstein.
