    The implementation of the requirements of the draft law on isolation of the Russian segment will require from the state budget 10 billion rubles more than previously reported – more than 30 billion rubles. As RBC writes, most likely, this amount will not be final.

    The latest edition of the Digital Security Passport includes a list of projects worth about 50 billion rubles, most of which concern the implementation of measures to protect the Runet.

    • 20.8 billion rubles will be spent on equipment to ensure the security of the Russian Internet segment;
    • about 4.5 billion – to collect information about Internet addresses, autonomous system numbers and connections between them, traffic routes on the Internet, as well as managing specialized software;
    • about 5.5 billion rubles for the development of software and hardware for collecting and storing information, monitoring and managing public networks, monitoring traffic routes on the Internet.

    RBC sources confirmed that the inclusion of these funds in the project was approved by the government.

    The final budget of the bill will be adopted by the State Duma of the Russian Federation after a revision of the cost of purchasing equipment and its operational services.

    Recall, the bill on the autonomous work of the Russian segment of the Internet, which obliges telecom operators to install special equipment for forced routing and filtering traffic, was adopted in the first reading on February 12. At the same time, the authors of the bill stated that about 20 billion rubles would be spent on the implementation of the law, although this amount was not officially registered anywhere.
