At about 8:00 UTC, developers of the privacy-oriented cryptocurrency Beam based on the MimbleWimble protocol reported stopping the network at block # 25709.

Soon the problem was discovered and fixed. The developers also made corresponding edits to the GitHub repository.

Recall that earlier in the Beam Wallet wallet a critical vulnerability was found , affecting both the desktop version and the CLI implementation.
