The Blockchain Beam temporarily stopped

At about 8:00 UTC, developers of the privacy-oriented cryptocurrency Beam based on the MimbleWimble protocol reported stopping the network at block # 25709.

Beam's blockchain stopped at block 25709, we are investigating. Stay tuned.

Soon the problem was discovered and fixed. The developers also made corresponding edits to the GitHub repository.

Recall that earlier in the Beam Wallet wallet a critical vulnerability was found , affecting both the desktop version and the CLI implementation.
