On January 29, in Berlin, at a meeting of developers using Parity Technologies solutions, the Airalab project team demonstrated how to launch a robot using a decentralized network based on Substrate technology.
The Substrate tool is integrated with the Polkadot interoperability protocol developed by Parity and allows you to create customized blockchains for decentralized applications in a short time.
“Substrate support is the most direct way to launch a parachute in Polkadot. In our case, a parachain, built to control robotics. Robomics will allow to integrate the networks of Ethereum and Polkadot to control robotics, and this means that the community will have more opportunities to use decentralized networks for automation tasks, ”said Sergey Lonshakov, leader of the Airalab development team.
Substrate uses the libp2p library from the creators of the Interplanetary File System (IPFS). An example of Robomics code on Substrate can be found on the Airalab page on GitHub .
“Substrate is a good alternative to Hyperledger for corporate clients. The decision on Substrate can be launched separately from the whole world in its own corporate network, and by the time the corporate machine realizes that it is necessary to join the common inter-blockchain space, the project on Substrate will not be too difficult to execute this maneuver, ”said Alisher Khasanov
Airalab developers are hoping to enlist the support of the community to create the robonomic paracea. To do this, they need a voice, backed up by dots when the Polkadot network is launched.

Recall that the beta version of the Substrate tool was launched by the developers of Parity Technologies in December 2018.
