In December, Samsung filed with the European Union three applications for trademarks related to the blockchain . These brands include the Blockchain KeyStore, the Blockchain Key Box and the Blockchain Core.
The applications indicate that the company is working on a smartphone associated with a cryptocurrency, or on a hardware wallet that can be embedded in the smartphone for secure storage of crypto keys.
Now the South Korean technical giant registers another trademark called “Blockchain-wallet”.
It is possible that the South Korean technology giant will equip the future flagship series Galaxy S10 with a crypto currency wallet , the same will happen with a crypto-oriented smartphone.
According to some reports, the supplier will increase the security of its biometric service called “Samsung Pass” using blockchain technology.
