And again, rumors related to Samsung and its flagship product Samsung Galaxy S10. This time it is about the fact that the company is ready to integrate cryptocurrency into its popular Samsung Pay payment application.

Note that Samsung Pay has about 10 million active users, and the system can be used in the crypto wallet of the new S10 smartphone .

January 29, The Korea Herald newspaper reported that Samsung intends to embed a wallet for virtual currencies in the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10. February 21 blockchain wallet was launched.

"The release of the new Samsung smartphone can start the promotion of cryptocurrency wallets in Korea ," said one of the company's top managers.

And on March 8, Donga, the largest news agency in South Korea, reported that Samsung Pay is considering the possibility of integrating digital assets in order to expand its customer base at the expense of users from other countries.

In 2015, Samsung Pay bought LoopPay for $ 250 million. This purchase allowed its customers to make payments through PoS terminals in retail outlets.

According to Donga, the Samsung Pay client base from 2017 to 2018 has grown by 58%.

According to experts, the integration of cryptocurrency is beneficial for both Samsung and its users. Moreover, it is a sign that large corporations are beginning to introduce digital assets.
