“Blockchain is an interesting technology, but it is still at an early stage of development and at the top of the HYIP cycle. However, without standardization and further improvements, you will most likely make a choice in favor of other solutions, ”the department said.
DTA noted that the strengths of the blockchain are actively promoted by companies that sell solutions based on this technology, but at the same time there is no positive feedback.
Nevertheless, DTA will continue to explore potential areas of application of the distributed registry for payment purposes in the Commonwealth of Nations.
It is noteworthy that the government allocated to the Office about $ 700,000 for the study of all aspects of the blockchain.
