HTC has announced its willingness to take pre-orders for Exodus – the world's first smartphone with blockchain technology.
Exodus is a smartphone based on Android Oreo with a protected enclave for cryptocurrency and tokens, which are separated from the OS.
Exodus has a top-end Snapdragon 845 processor paired with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. There is a 6-inch Quad HD + display, also an 8 megapixel camera, which is located on the front panel, and 12, 16 megapixel cameras located behind the smartphone.
Exodus also has a fairly large 3,500 mAh battery. The design feature is the transparent trim on the back panel, which allows you to see the internal hardware components. The smartphone is protected from dust and water (IP68 rating).
It should be noted that in case of loss or theft of the Exodus phone, as well as in the case when you forget the security keys, it is possible to recover data on digital assets using contacts entrusted to you.
HTC is already accepting pre-orders on its website at a price of 0.15 BTC or 4.78 ETH (this is about $ 957).
