Nasdaq will launch on February 25 two cryptocurrency indices

From February 25, the Nasdaq Stock Exchange will begin to display Bitcoin and Ethereum quotes provided by Brave New Coin. This is stated in the official statement of the exchange .

With the help of the Bitcoin Liquid Index (BLX) and Ethereum Liquid Index (ELX) indices, users can find out in real time about the state of the cryptocurrency spot market.

Quotes will be transferred in US dollars and calculated in accordance with the indicators of the most liquid markets. The index will be updated every 30 seconds.

“BLX is one of the most widely used indices among crypto traders, and the data included in it covers the period up to 2010. ELX was similarly calculated from August 2015, ”the exchange said.

Recall that in early January, the DX.Exchange cryptocurrency exchange was launched , which is based on the NASDAQ infrastructure.
