South Korean technology giant Samsung will release a new version of its Galaxy Note 10 smartphone with a built-in cryptocurrency wallet and blockchain applications. It is reported by The Wall Street Journal .

The smartphone will be called KlaytnPhone – in honor of the previously launched blockchain platform from another major South Korean company, Kakao.

According to media reports, the new device will not differ from Galaxy Note 10, except that it will have a built-in cryptocurrency wallet. In addition, KlaytnPhone users will receive a certain amount of Klay coins – Klaytn's native digital currency.

In addition, the owners of the new device will be able to carry out full-scale transactions on the Klaytn network.

It is reported that Samsung has partnered with the blockchain division of Kakao Ground X to launch a new smartphone.

It should be noted that the device will be sold only in the home jurisdiction of companies – South Korea.

Recall, Samsung recently added support for bitcoin, BNB token and stablecoins to its Galaxy S10 smartphone. Now the device supports a total of 33 crypto assets.
