Ledger hardware wallets disable Chrome app support for Ethereum
The hardware wallet team Ledger announced that on December 10, the Chrome application for Ethereum will be deactivated.
According to representatives of the French company, when launching the application, users will be “kindly asked to use Ledger Live” to manage Ethereum assets .
The company also stressed that since ETH and other cryptoactive assets are stored in blockchain networks , in order to switch from a Chrome application to Ledger Live, it is not necessary to transfer funds.
On Monday, 10 December 2018, the Ledger Ethereum Wallet Chrome app will be deactivated. Users are using the Ledger Live app.
