Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), is preparing for a large-scale expansion of the range of monitored cryptocurrencies in its quote service.

The Cryptocurrency Data Feed service was launched in January 2018 in cooperation with Blockstream technology blockchain. It transmits information about the behavior of cryptocurrency markets in real time, including changes in rates and the ratio of applications.

According to the latest announcement, the updated product will cover thousands of cryptocurrencies and hundreds of trading platforms , which, according to the organizers, should help increase the level of transparency in the market.

Currently, Cryptocurrency Data Feed supports 58 digital assets that are collected from various exchanges. Most of them were added to the service recently – for example, in December, he tracked only 15 cryptocurrencies.

Here is the full list of currently supported cryptocurrencies :

ICE uses the Secure Financial Transaction Infrastructure (SFTI) tool, which, according to the developers, allows you to eliminate waiting times and immediately send notifications in case of sudden market movements.

The last 6 months, ICE has often appeared in the news, as the company is behind the creation of the Bitcoin exchange Bakkt . Despite several delays in launching, the company recently raised funds in the amount of $ 182.5 million. Financing was held with the participation of the venture capital division of Microsoft, Boston Consulting Group and Pantera Capital.

Last month, ICE representatives said that the launch of the Bakkt cryptocurrency platform will take place "later this year."
