West Ham United Football Club will launch a token for fans

West Ham United is playing in the English Premier League and plans to release branded tokens for fans on the blockchain platform Socios.com.

According to the club itself, the audience of its fans is 40 million people.

“Most fans of our club actively interact with new digital technologies in everyday life, ” said the club’s digital and commercial director, Karim Virani.

The release of the coin is expected at the beginning of the season 2019/2020, it will allow holders to vote through a mobile application on various issues of the club. In addition, fans will participate in the raffle of various prizes, exclusive products and tickets for games.

Fans will be able to purchase branded tokens for the internal coin of the Socios.com platform – $ CHZ.

Recall that in September 2018, the blockchain platform Socios.com together with the Turin football club Juventus and the French Paris Saint-Germain released tokens for fans.
