A new blockchain platform is available at Futian metro station. It allows passengers to pay for their digital tickets at the end of each trip through the WeChat messenger app. All payments will be recorded in the blockchain.
Shenzhen is a leading Chinese technology center. About 20 million people live in it. It is expected that the system of selling tickets on the blockchain per day will be able to serve up to 170,000 passengers.
