North Korea begins development of digital currency

The DPRK is at an early stage in creating its own digital currency, Vice News reports citing a local official. With its help, the government plans to circumvent sanctions.

According to the organizer of cryptocurrency conferences in the DPRK, Alejandro Cao de Benos (Alejandro Cao de Benos), the still unnamed coin "will look like bitcoin."
