
The Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM and the Mail.ru Group signed a memorandum of cooperation for the development of the digital economy in the Russian Federation. The companies entered into a partnership during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
Within the framework of cooperation, the companies will be engaged in the development, implementation and joint promotion of digital products in the field of cloud computing and IT infrastructure virtualization, big data management, artificial intelligence and other areas.
“One of the directions of our strategy is the provision of technologies that accelerate the development of enterprises and simplify business management. All services that can be provided online must be digitized. We are glad that we can work on this task together with Rosatom. By combining our resources and experience, we will be able to make a significant contribution to the development of the digital economy in the country, ”noted Boris Dobrodeev, General Director of Mail.ru Group.
Earlier, during the SPIEF, Sberbank of Russia signed an agreement with a French IT company on the development of “smart cities”, and Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping announced cooperation in the field of Internet regulation.
