    In Kirov, bailiffs forced the debtor to exchange Bitcoins for Fiat for alimony payments

    A resident of the Russian Kirov, who owed 600 thousand rubles of alimony for the maintenance of two children, paid the required amount from cryptocurrency savings. This was reported in the UFSSP of the Russian Federation in the Kirov region.

    The ministry reported that the debtor earned about 800 thousand rubles from Bitcoin operations. At the request of the bailiffs, he converted the cryptocurrency into Fiat.

    “It is almost 800 thousand rubles for monetary funds, – the debt is levied, 600 thousand rubles are transferred for the maintenance of minors, the amount of the performing collection, which amounted to 37 thousand – to the budget. The rest of the amount was returned to the debtor, ”the bailiffs said.

    Kirovchanin was also handed a referral for registration at the local employment center.

    Recall that in November 2017, the owner of one of the hardware stores in the city of Kaspiysk of the Republic of Dagestan accepted bitcoins from the client to pay off the debt .
