Europol is developing a computer game that will allow employees to train to track cryptocurrency transactions in criminal offenses. The creation of the game, which will provide "practical training", the police service announced during the Cryptocurrency Conference.

It is also known that the cryptocurrency tracking game is being developed in partnership with the Center for the Study of Terrorism, Organized Crime and Intelligence at the University of Sheffield Hallam, and the launch of the final version of the product is scheduled for October.

"This game is the first opportunity to use gamification for training law enforcement officers in the field of cryptocurrency and investigations in general," the service stressed.

Earlier, during the international operation with the participation of Europol and law enforcement agencies of the Federal Republic of Germany , the dark wall-marketplace of the Wall Street Market was found and confiscated . Three arrests were also made.

At the same time, the Finnish customs officers closed the dark marketplace Silkkitie (or Valhalla).

Note that Europol takes an active part in operations aimed at catching criminals operating in the open spaces of the darknet and using cryptocurrencies to pay for illegal goods and services.
