Dapper Labs, the developer of the game CryptoKitties, raised $ 11.2 million to create the Flow blockchain, Forbes reports.

Investors included Andreessen Horowitz, Digital Currency Group and Warner Music Group. They have acquired stakes in the company, but will be able to convert them into Flow native tokens after approval by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

The Flow blockchain is focused on the gaming industry, the development of applications and other digital assets.

Dapper Labs also collaborates with giant Ubisoft. Together they create a racing game where users can trade unique cars.

Recall that at the end of last year, Dapper Labs attracted $ 15 million investment from Google Ventures, SamsungNEXT and Andreessen Horowitz.

In total, the company has already invested $ 39.2 million.
