He is convinced that the moment of the upcoming correction is the best time to buy Bitcoin. According to him, the last time such a chance was in 2015. Then the rate of the first cryptocurrency dropped to $ 300, after which in December 2017 it reached the absolute maximum.
“Historically, the first pullback after the beginning of the bull phase is one of the best moments to return to the cryptocurrency market,” said Villaverde.
As proof, the analyst also cites a bitcoin price correction in 2012. Then the first cryptocurrency rose to $ 7 after reaching the "bottom", but then dropped to $ 4.
“It was just a preparation for the beginning of the bear market, when Bitcoin for the first time in history reached the four-digit mark of $ 1200 by December 2013.”
Analyst Weiss Ratings also notes a significant improvement in fundamental factors. In particular, Villaverde indicates an increase in the number of on-line transactions and trading volume on trading floors, as well as low commissions in the Bitcoin network.
At the same time, the analyst's last statement is rather controversial, since recently the average transactional commissions in the network of the first cryptocurrency reached a 14-month maximum. According to Bitcoinfees.info , at the time of writing, the commission for the inclusion of a transaction in the next block exceeds $ 4.
Recall that this is not the first time that Weiss Ratings have stated that they have calculated the best time to buy Bitcoin. So, analysts talked about this back in December last year.
