An illegal mining farm was discovered in Krasnoyarsk. Suspects face up to 5 years imprisonment

In Krasnoyarsk, law enforcement officers seized more than a hundred devices for the extraction of cryptocurrency, which illegally received electricity from municipal power grids. This is reported by the local edition of the NCC.

The unlawful connection was discovered by the KrasKom economic security service. Presumably the mining farm activities began last spring. It is reported that at an hour the farm consumed about 400 kilowatts, and for two months, KrasKom suffered damage in the amount of more than two million rubles.

Militiamen have already begun check and have withdrawn the equipment in cost over ten million rubles. Suspects in the organization of the farm may face up to five years in prison.

In addition, the "KrasKom" reported that they are engaged in the preparation of documents to the court for damages caused to the company.

Recall that earlier in July, Russian Grids North Caucasus discovered the illegal connection of mining farms. The damage from the theft of electricity amounted to about 4.4 million rubles.
