Nearly 80 EH / s – Bitcoin hash rate reached a new record level

Last weekend, the cumulative computational power of the Bitcoin network once again updated the historical maximum, reaching 79.752 EH / s.

The peak figure, according to Blockchain.com , was on Saturday, July 20th. On Sunday, the last day for which statistics are available, the hashrate fell slightly and today stands at 67.136 EH / s.

Recall, the previous record of 74,548 EH / s was recorded on July 5 .

Also at record levels above 9.06 trillion is currently the difficulty of extracting the first cryptocurrency. At these indicators, the complexity of mining came on July 9 , rising as a result of the last recalculation by 14%.
