Founder of Cardano: the underlying idea of bitcoin failed

The head of the blockchain company IOHK and Cardano's “godfather” of cryptocurrency, Charles Hoskinson, criticized Bitcoin and Ethereum, of which he is one of the creators.

Thus, in a recent interview, he stated that if the idea of Bitcoin was to create a decentralized registry and become decentralized money, then it failed.

According to Hoskinson, the problem of Bitcoin is that it is “too blind, deaf and stupid, and nothing can be done about it,” since the most minor operations with it cost “enormous exhausting efforts”.

Hoskinson criticized Ethereum:

“Of course, scalable, it is, in fact, not compatible with other systems. There are over a thousand different cryptocurrencies that really matter. ”

Earlier, the founder of Cardano said that Bitcoin will be able to return to $ 20,000 marks no earlier than in 10-11 years, but for this, millions of people should start using cryptocurrency.
