The data of the analytical service Google Trends show an increase in the number of search queries with the word “bitcoin”.

According to the service, users from Nigeria, the Netherlands, South Africa, Austria and Switzerland made the most requests. In the United States, information about Bitcoin was most often sought in California, Washington, Nevada, New York, and Colorado.

Interest in the first cryptocurrency is obviously due to a sharp jump in its price – on April 2, in about an hour, Bitcoin tested the $ 5,000 mark.

Recall that in 2018, Bitcoin became the most popular search query in the “What is …?” Category among Internet users in the US and the UK.
