The æternity project, which is developing a blockchain protocol for open source smart contracts, announced the purchase of a share in the SatoshiPay micropayments service . This is stated in the press release of the project.

The deal was concluded in the next round of financing SatoshiPay. In addition to æternity, Börsenmedien AG , AERGO , as well as Daniel Masters from CoinShares and CEO SatoshiPay Meinhard Benn took part in it.
SatoshiPay will use æternity solutions to increase the capacity of its payment service. The company notes that such features of æternity as high speed of transactions, state channels and low commissions will allow you to create a service that is impossible on other blockchains.
“Our platform needs high speed and low transaction costs. The æternity solution allows you to easily provide all of this, ”said SatoshiPay CEO Meinhard Benn.
The founder of æternity, Janislav Malakhov, stressed:
“Buying a stake in SatoshiPay will allow all æternity partners to integrate nanopayments. In addition, developers of open source applications will be able to realize nano payments through the SatoshiPay service for any digital content, data or services. ”
One of the first users of the joint solution from æternity and SatoshiPay could be Axel Springer SE , one of the largest digital content companies in Europe, which owns such publications as Business Insider, Bild, Die Welt and Upday. Axel Springer SE customers will be able to buy digital content for cryptocurrency through SatoshiPay wallet.
The æternity team also makes efforts to build and support the Russian-speaking community. Developers invite users to ask any questions in the Russian section of the official forum. You can also contact the team in a thread on the Bitcointalk forum or the official Russian-language chat in Telegram .
Recall that at the end of 2018 æternity released the first iteration of its blockchain called Roma Release. Soon after, the project established two charitable foundations to support blockchain initiatives.
In addition, BlockchainJournal together with æternity launched special projects on the evolution of smart contracts and functional programming on the blockchain.
