On March 11, law enforcement agencies in Moscow conduct raids on the Sadovod market and in the Moskva shopping center. An informed source told Interfax that searches may be related to mining equipment search.
The Metropolitan Police, together with the staff of the migration service, began a special operation at three in the morning.
The reason for the raids could be conflicts between migrants in the capital over the weekend.
“It is possible that cryptocurrency farms can also be searched on the territory of the markets, ” the source added.
Following the results of the raid, the police detained 19 illegal immigrants. They were brought to administrative responsibility for violation of immigration laws.
Recall that in March 2018 the Russians were obliged to declare the equipment for mining imported into the country.
