“We admit the obvious – there are only 21 million bitcoins. Seven of which are lost forever, and if Satoshi is dead, add a few more to them, ”explained Macafi.
He is confident that the first cryptocurrency will occupy 5% of global financial transactions, and maybe more. At the same time, based on the available number of coins, bitcoin will cost $ 10 million, says McAfee.
“I'm just a very conservative person. I said one million and stick to that, ” he added.
McAfee sees the future of bitcoin as a means of accumulation, and other types of digital assets – stablecoins and confidential coins – are more suitable for transactions. According to him, the last bitcoin also loses in privacy due to the public blockchain.
