Singapore's cryptocurrency exchange Huobi plans to release XRP derivatives in the “near future” as part of the expansion of its product line and services.

Huobi's top manager, Josh Goodbody, said that the platform will introduce XRP futures at the Derivatives Market, DM “very soon.” Gudbodi, head of global sales and institutional companies, noted that the exchange intends to launch more cryptocurrency contracts and other types of financial products this year.

Although Gudbodi did not mention the exact date from which XRP futures will be available on the platform, he said that this would happen in the near future and “additional types of cryptoactive assets” could be added to the exchange. Josh added that "the gap between the launches of various products is getting shorter."

Huobi launched its derivatives market

Last November, Huobi announced plans to launch its own derivatives market, which was introduced last month. Now traders can buy bitcoin and ethereum futures contracts through this market. In December, in addition, EOS- futures were added.

Now investors can purchase Huobi crypto futures in almost all countries except Singapore, China and the United States.

On January 25, Huobi announced that its derivatives markets would allow traders to take both short and long positions on litecoin (LTC) . Commenting on the new proposal, Goodbodi noted that the company is “quite confident” in its new futures contracts.

Meanwhile, the eToro Tel Aviv cryptocurrency platform announced that Altcoin Zcash (ZEC) has expanded the list of digital assets available for trading. As they say in the message, now eToro users can buy and sell “real” Zcash directly on the platform.
