ConsenSys: Bitcoin trumped Trump and Kardashian's Google Trends

According to Google Trends, the concept of "Bitcoin" is currently leading among the requests in the leading search engine of the Google world. Bitcoin managed to bypass the popularity requests that have been leading in the past few years.

Google Trends tools allow you to determine how often a particular term appears in the Google search bar, taking into account the region of the user, his native language, etc. As it turned out, now people are even more interested in Bitcoin cryptocurrency. Representatives of the blockchain-company ConsenSys were able to determine that the frequency of searching for the term “Bitcoin” in the past few months exceeded the two most popular queries in the last 12 months – Donald Trump and Kim Kardashian.

It is also interesting that users most often use an abbreviated version of the term “cryptocurrency”, limited to just “crypt”. Such indicators, however, no longer cause much surprise, since public interest in BTC often increases with the rate of cryptocurrency.

Meanwhile, representatives of the crypto community, as well as traders and analysts continue to monitor the dynamics of BTC, more and more often you can find information on the positive vision of the future cryptocurrency on the Internet. So, on the eve of the BTC-analyst Oliver Isaacs made his forecast, saying that by the end of 2019, the rate of cryptocurrency could rise to a level of $ 25,000. The success of the BTC, according to Isaacs, could have been caused in different ways – the growth could have been influenced by both geopolitical, technological factors, and the decisions of some regulators. The analyst also noted that the network effect of the trade war between the United States and China could also lead to an unexpected interest in BTC, as in a hedging instrument.
