CME: in the third quarter, the average daily trading volume in bitcoin futures rose by 41%


The average daily trading volume of bitcoin futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME Group) in the third quarter increased by 41%.

Note that the sum of open positions (OI) also showed a positive trend compared to the second quarter and grew by 19%, reaching 2,803 contracts.
Recall the launch of bitcoin futures at CME took place on December 18, 2017.
