Casa Bitcoin has announced that the Sats application, which is a Bitcoin wallet, is now available for gadgets on iOS and Android.
Representatives of Casa said that customers can already download applications on the App Store and Google Play. The company draws attention to the fact that the application can be used without connecting to the Lightning node, however, such users will not be able to use the functionality offered by the Lightning Network. The application supports the SatsTag system – when a Bitcoin transaction is carried out using SatsTag, a new address is generated from the recipient's public key. Carrying out operations by scanning QR codes is also relevant. Casa also noted that the wallet is completely non-custodian, the user is fully responsible for controlling his private keys. The company offers users to use the Keymaster application, which is integrated with Sats and allows you to safely store and manage private keys.
In late August, it became known that the company launched the Node Heartbeats service, which specializes in monitoring the available nodes of the Bitcoin network, rewarding those owners who conscientiously service them.
