Binance eliminates discrepancies with CoinMarketCap data in the number of tokens BNB

An interesting thing is observed when comparing the circulating offer of the coin token Binance coin (BNB) on CoinMarketCap (CMC) and displayed on the website of Binance itself.
On the CMC, the number of BNBs circulating on the market is displayed as 112.44 million, while on the Binance website we find that this number is 144.44 million. Obviously, there is a huge difference of about 32 million BNB, which is not reported coinmarketcap, writes the portal ethereumworldnews.com .
For better visualization are screenshots from both platforms:

It was with this observation that Binance's CEO Changpeng Zhao announced through his Twitter about the Exchange's intention to unlock some BNBs to adhere to how coinmarketcap calculates its values:
To correct the number of BNBs calculated by the CMC, we will move the unlocked tokens from the creator's addresses for the next few days with small transactions to avoid large fluctuations, as suggested by the CMC and reach the correct number of 144,443,301 BNBs per CMC.
It is likely that the main purpose of the report of Changpeng Zhao was to notify the platform users of the planned events affecting the BNB. Thus, Binance will avoid a situation where users can assume that something is wrong with the platform, creating panic.
It should also be noted that BNB will soon move several positions up in the list to coinmarketcap, presumably on the 14th position in front of NEO (NEO) and Ethereum Classic (ETC) .
