Auction on the blockchain auction platform sold a lot for 8.1 ETH – about $ 1344 at the exchange rate on the auction day. This is a new record for the platform.

The auction, which lasted several days, ended on April 25 at the Crypto Games Conference in Minsk. The auction was broadcast live.

The record lot is a collection token with a character named Darta-Nyan. This is a unique non-fungible token created in honor of the collaboration between Auctionity and the Blockchain Cuties Universe project.

According to representatives of Auctionity, all the proceeds from the auction were transferred to the TeenGuru Project, which helps Belarusian teenagers to master the blockchain and innovative technologies in order to create their own startup.

Auctionity is an auction site for selling collectible digital tokens (NFT, non-fungible tokens). In the project application, characters from CryptoKitties, Etheremon, ChibiFighters, MLBCryptoBaseball, MyCryptoHeroes, Blockchain Cuties Universe, and works by artists of the art platform KnownOrigin and SuperRare are available.

Previously, Auctionity, together with blockhead-art project KnownOrigin, held the Creative Challenge – a competition of tokenized digital art-works. As part of the Creative Challenge, the best eight pictures tokenized on the Ethereum blockchain were selected and sold at auction.

Auctionity and KnownOrigin are now planning to hold a similar auction at the International Digital Art Festival on June 26.

Recall that earlier this year Auctionity announced plans to sell real items through blockchain auctions.
