finally appeared in Venezuela

According to a service that tracks the emergence of crypto terminals around the globe, Venezuelan residents gained access to the first Bitcoin-ATM. The terminal appeared 4 days ago in a small city located in the southwest of Venezuela. The device was installed at a Viajes e Inversiones HC outlet; the Latin American company Panda BTM was involved in organizing the implementation of the device.

The terminal supports Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, DASH, as well as the national currency of Venezuela and the Colombian peso. Earlier in Venezuela, attempts have been made to install Bitcoin terminals. In winter, Cryptobuyer announced its intention to install and test a new Bitcoin terminal in Caracas, but for some reason this undertaking was never implemented.

Meanwhile, Colombia has the largest number of Bitcoin terminals among all countries in South America. This was made possible through the establishment of partnerships with the Paxful service and Coinlogiq – thanks to them 20 new BTC-terminals appeared in the country.

Recall that the world's first terminal accepting the flagship cryptocurrency was installed in the capital of Canada 6 years ago. Since then, the number of terminals that accept cryptocurrency and allow operations with it has been constantly increasing. It is known that the total number of crypto terminals worldwide has increased from 501 in 2016 to more than 5400 in the current year.
