Foreign investors have an interest in the blockchain project in Crimea.

Georgy Muradov, the representative of the Republic of Crimea under the President of the Russian Federation, told reporters that foreign businessmen are ready to finance the launch of blockchain projects in the peninsula.

Financing will be made through a cryptocurrency investment fund, reports RIA Novosti . There are several projects based on the use of decentralized technologies. Of particular interest to blockchain projects in the Crimea are investors from China, Muradov stressed.

    He also stated :

At the moment in Russia at the legislative level, no provisions have been adopted to regulate the blockchain and cryptocurrency market, therefore the introduction of such technological solutions is being postponed. But we have a plan to create an investment cryptocurrency fund, which will be able to contribute to the implementation of several projects in the Crimea and possibly beyond its borders.

All blockchain projects, in the implementation of which foreign investors will take part, will be included in the large-scale program “ CryptoCrym ”.

For the first time, the readiness to launch such a program was started up by the participants of the Yalta International Economic Forum in April last year.

In parallel, there are projects to launch sites in the Crimea for the production of mining equipment and the opening of enterprises for the extraction of digital assets .
