    According to a survey conducted by the Bank of England on its Twitter page, cryptocurrencies are considered the most desirable way to get a Christmas present.

    “If you receive money as a Christmas present, which one is your favorite?”

    Survey participants can choose one of the 4 options :

    • Cash;
    • Money transfer using a bank;
    • Gift Voucher;
    • Cryptocurrency.

    At the time of publication of the news, more than 8650 people voted. The survey showed that 72% of users want to receive a gift in the form of digital currencies, 20% in cash, 6% for using a bank transfer and only 2% for a gift voucher.

    It is worth noting that UK regulators have not yet created a legal framework for cryptocurrencies, and the community suggested that by conducting this survey, the bank is trying to assess public interest in digital currencies before starting to take any steps in the cryptocurrency market.
