On November 27, the plaintiffs withdrew their lawsuit in Cyprus on charges of Alexander Vinnik of fraud, money laundering and other crimes. About this BlockchainJournal reported lawyers Vinnika.

According to Russian lawyers, the decision of the plaintiffs "speaks about the weakness of the accusatory component against Alexander, the vulnerability of the legal position of the plaintiffs and their unwillingness to bring the case to an open legal hearing."

The Greek court also granted the petition and issued a decision on the compensation to Alexander Vinnik of all legal costs incurred by him. The amount of compensation is unknown.

Alexander Vinnik of Russia, previously suspected of laundering money through the BTC-e cryptocurrency exchange, went on a hunger strike , accusing the Greek authorities of arbitrariness in court.
