International technological blockchain-company Bitfury Group and the Russian Economic University named after G.V. Plekhanov concluded a strategic cooperation, within which a business accelerator for blockchain projects will be created. This was reported to BlockchainJournal by company representatives.
Under the terms of the agreement, a program for development and support of blockchain projects, as well as courses of higher and additional education for training leaders of the digital economy, will be launched on the basis of the REU.
“The development of a new digital economy and blockchain technologies is impossible without quality education and the training of new personnel. Our cooperation is aimed at training specialists who are able to quickly create innovative projects using digital technologies and bring them to the market in the context of the new industrial revolution, ”said Dmitry Ufaev, head of Bitfury in Russia.
The project will be implemented with the support of the “Coordination Center of the Intergovernmental Commission on Cooperation in the Field of Computing Machinery” of the RF Ministry of Communications and Mass Media.
“We see a huge potential in the development of technologies and strive to accumulate on our sites really interesting projects that will become points of growth and drivers of the economy. These pilot projects are applicable not only in the field of public administration, but also for the modernization of large corporations that need digital transformation, ”commented Anton Privezentsev, director of the center.
Recall that earlier in November, Bitfury Group attracted $ 80 million in investment from Mike Novograc and international funds.
