Today can be quite significant this year because of an event that can stimulate a trend reversal in the cryptocurrency market.
Bitcoin (BTC) futures trading occurs in a three-month period (quarter). Trading in current futures contracts began on July 30th. Namely today – October 26, CME Bitcoin futures trading is terminated at 4:00 pm London time.

So how can this affect bitcoin? The observation from many crypto experts is that whenever Bitcoin-futures trades come to an end, cryptocurrency markets tend to become more volatile or, on the contrary, less active.
Back in June, Fundstrat CEO Thomas Lee drew attention to this phenomenon. His team has collected data that confirms that Bitcoin is subject to sharp price changes in the specified period.
Traders can also be noted on November 30 in their calendars, as this is the period when the next batch of futures contracts expires.
