Michael Lee, the head of the analytical department of the social network LinkedIn, took up the position of vice president of data processing at the crypt exchange Coinbase. About this, Lee said in his blog on the platform Medium.
As Lee said, he will participate in the Coinbase mission to "create an open financial system for the world." In his opinion, in the crypto and lock-box industry there are boundless possibilities for using the data.
He added that the data will help Coinbase offer customers better quality of crypto-currency products and services.
"For the data processing, we will use both existing technologies, such as machine learning and artificial intelligence, as well as innovative solutions that will help us explore new ways of using blocking technology," Michael Lee wrote.
Prior to joining Coinbase, Michael Lee's career was linked to "empowering people" by applying data in the financial sector, e-commerce and social networks.
